Flynn's lawyer filed a mandamus brief appealing the judge appointing an amicus lawyer to argue against dismissal. First argument out of the box is quoting the judge's order from December that there's no mechanism for an amicus in a criminal case and that allowing it would be improper.

Newspaper story said she had never been in a courtroom in her life, before the nom.
The bar association was asked bout her ability ta be a judge.
First time in 50 years, they came back and said "no".
Thing got held up until Bush was in, and that was that.

This judge should be removed from the case for bias. They know and can prove he is biased because of his own words and actions before Flynn entered a plea. Ideally he would be impeached (federal judges are subject to impeachment just like the POTUS, VP, SCOTUS and senators) but as long as the DEMs control the house judiciary that isn't going to happen.
