Terah,

Sorry to hear about Rick. Prayers from Maine are on the way.I to have the same condition and don't look forward to such an event. They say certain foods will lodge in these pockets and cause irritation such as Rick is experiencing. Nuts and whole grains can cause this irritation.............I love nuts and whole grains!

Did they find this condition while doing a Colonoscopy? That is how they found mine. They say these pockets are caused by straining to much when we go to the bathroom. The same thing that can cause hemroids can cause these pockets to develop. Drinking plenty of water can reduce constipation which can help reduce the straining.

Keep us posted as to his condition.

Get well soon.......... smile

Terah,

Good luck to you and Rick--I hope the doctors take as good care of him as you both take of the Campfire readers/customers!

Been there, and it is painfull, indeed. Had the surgery, too.
Dilaudid was a friend of mine, and prayer was, too.
Prayer sent. Hang in there, Rick.

Terah, my thoughts and good wishes are with you both. My wife went through the same thing two years ago. The resultant surgery and recovery were not pleasant on anyone's part but we made it and you will too. All good wishes.

He has been in excruciating pain since Friday night. I always appreciate all the christian support on these forums. Please pray for his healing.
Happy Father's Day to all of the great dads!
