Well I still don't know how the Fed is going to find me. They have my mailing address for Social Security. Still no check.

Should be this last week of may , 1st week of june.
Supposedly.........
Pay taxes with it.
Basically a freebie for 2019 taxes even though taxable for 2020 probably.
Aint no spinner rims, wide screens, or pallets of malt liquor and kool milds for me...

How did the Fed get all the details of everyone's bank account? We gave it to them. LOL , unless you had a refund which I have not had in years you have to enter your banking information on their website. It's very simple and straightforward. .

How did the Fed get all the details of everyone's bank account? If you read what you agreed to when you opened your account you would have found that the Feds can take all your money anytime they want to.

They mailed a check to my recently deceased MIL last week. My great aunt died a year ago and she recently got paid. Of course my mom contacted SS and they got it straightened out.

Well I still don't know how the Fed is going to find me. They have my mailing address for Social Security. Still no check. Patience grasshopper. We received ours sometime this past week. Just went to the PO box yesterday and there it was in paper form in all its glory.

Not everyone has direct deposit from a government agency. If you are on social security, for example, many people have their monthly checks direct deposited into a checking or savings account so they are already set up. Many have their income tax refunds direct deposited also.
Those are the easy ones, but the .gov has everyone's mailing address who files taxes if a direct deposit is not in effect.
That answers it for me. I haven't had a tax refund in 20 years. I'd forgot about Social Security direct deposit Okie I had a post recently on this. I have SS direct deposit, I’m not eligible for any stimulus money AND I just recently received a Debit Card as part of the Stimulus Act from the Treasury Department . I haven’t activated the card yet. Antelope Sniper was good enough to post a link on the Debit Card mail-outs. I’m going to get with my accountant this week and see what gives. Having said all of this and by what’s written here by other posters it apparently can come in one of several different ways. Go figger, Brother.

I mail them at least four checks a year to pay my quarterly taxes. I didnt get crap but thats how they got mine.

Finally got our check a couple days ago. 2400 bucks. I think we'll just endorse the check to go towards our taxes owed.
Probably get audited for my insolence but at this point IDGAF.
