The shotguns were at the local MP detachment and as best as I recall were declared surplus and replaced with current issue. Too small a lot to go beyond detachment level. The captain in charge of the detachment handled the deal and he was the FFL that added the choke. All around good guy and gun nut. His French wife, Francoise, was my first crush, to me the epitome of sophistication and elegance.
