You are full of schidt and anyone who grew up rural and not white trash sees it plain as day.

Get off it dufus. I've seen more dogs chase deer than you would in 5 lifetimes. The vast majority will break off the chase or lose the track before they chase far enough to run off an ounce of fat or cause any damage at all. Shyt I've seen deer obviously having fun and being curious with a dog on it's track actually stopping and waiting for the dog to catch up. Byond that, far more deer are killed by automobiles, hunters and coyotes in this State than by dogs yet we still have plenty of deer. Too many in many areas as a matter of fact. Another matter of fact is that it is illegal to shoot a dog for chasing deer here and will result in an animal cruelty charge if you are caught.

My 88 year old neighbor died in 2000, but in 1985 he built a couple barns for me, using his 36" saw mill.
He told the story of killing 200 dogs over the years that got into his trapline.
He would try to set them free, but if they growled, they died.

I don’t claim to know the laws in NY but if it’s really illegal to kill a dog harassing wildlife that’s a stupid law. When I see a dog running wild on my land or public land I shoot it. Not because I want to kill it but because it’s the right thing to do for multiple reasons

No it's a good idea because there are lots of ignorant retards out there who will kill anything for no good reason. That's plain toi see on here any time one of these dog threads comes up. I think it is important to let some of these fools know there are some of us out here that will absolutely change your life if you shoot our dogs without damn good reason. I will not hesitate to beat your ass for such and I have a friend who I am absolutely positive would have killed the jackass that shot his dog if I wasn't there to pull him off the guy.

My son had a pit bull they found half dead because he lost the fight in Oregon ...I guess,,Anyway,that was a damn good dog..I took care of it for a couple years..A very good dog..Not all whites are bad/not all negro's are bad and not all pit bulls are bad..

What if it's on my property?

We've got horses in the pasture between our house and the neighbors. I can see them from my living room window. Not only have I never seen dogs chase them, the horses will run any dog that wanders into the pasture clean out of it in short order. Having come from a farming family, I've seen cattle do the same more than once.
