Vanilla bean ice cream ? Only if the pie is completely cooled.

This esteemed panel of food critics can not even agree on something a simple a peach pie.
Eat it with fork, or chopsticks?

Use a fork! And DON'T screw up a perfectly good pie with ice cream!

Eat it with fork, or chopsticks? Neither. Eat it with a spoon so you get all the juice. L.W.

That looks good. Recipe please?
Made a couple of awesome rhubarb pies this last week (our patch went crazy this year).
Slavyanka and I just discussed making a peach pie. I’ll buy frozen crust. Can’t make pie crust to save my life.

Recipe? The crust, flour, water, salt, lard. She used a Crustarnet , spelling?, for that pie. Fresh peaches, sugar. maybe some corn starch. Mostly fifty years plus of doing it. Like playing a musical instrument, practice a lot. You can always eat the mistakes.

Hot pie is the margarine of desserts. Was just telling someone that I don't like pie warmed up. People think I'm nuts but have always liked it cold.
