Can’t say I’ve dabbled in either the Velvet or Lord much.

Had a pard that fell into hard times at the bottom of a bunch Canadian Mist. Hairy fugker. We called him the gorilla in the mist. Lol.

He’s better now..

There was a time in my life I drank Evan Williams green label as my go to.

The label is green because that’s the color your face will be after drinking it!

Honestly it’s not terrible, but definitely not “good”bourbon. There are a lot of bourbons with age statements and way better for under 30$ a 750ml. I do think it’s hard to beat under 20$ though as it’s aged 4 years vs most at that price point only 2. I buy it for bourbon mixed drinks from time to time

First thing you gotta figure out is if you like a wheated or rye bourbon the best, then you can find the diamonds in the rough( subjective of course).

Yeah, I've heard of Canadian whiskey. We've got a few Crown Royal drinkers around here, not that they would know whiskey from Gulf Lite.

Well, while you were drinking Evan Williams I was enjoying Rittenhouse bottled in bond rye which is very good whiskey for a modest price.

Hopefully you had some linguini in red clam sauce for dinner beforehand. Make it colorful and artistical while you were at it.

Its almost half again as cheap as the other cheapies I drink. Wild Turkey and Old Granddad.

I like a splash ditch.

Its a glass full of whiskey with just a splash of water. Couple ice cubes if your wife is watching and thinks you should go to rehab.......

Try it.

Its the weekend anyway.

Evan William's is good. Black is real good.

Their white label became the house bourbon about six months ago. It's decent stuff.
