Baristas wearing BLM attire is why I won't be patronizing Starbucks any longer.

All the "Coffee With a Cop" events around Miami are held by Starbucks.

They provide everything free of charge.

Really surprised to hear that. Around here you’re rolling the dice every time you order something in uniform

Not only is Starbucks overpriced, but it's a Leftist/Commie organization. I can't even keep up with their social engineering. Screw them. Unfortunately, my young daughter loves Starbucks - especially their "Chai tea." I've tried to explain why we shouldn't patronize Starbucks, but at her young age, she just doesn't care. Perhaps the "Fecal" contamination article that Jag posted will change her mind.

*****

There's a serious problem in this country when people, by and large, simply will not stand up for what is right - either for fear of being labeled a racist or b/c it's easier to "go along to get along." There are countless examples and in my opinion, this is a major contributing factor to the state we're in now in this country. Starbucks is a prime example, as is Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, Proctor & Gamble (Gillette), Nike, ad nauseam. These deeply misguided companies firmly believe that their social engineering is the right thing to do - profits, shareholders and consensus be dammed.

Part of the problem is that Leftists of all varieties (Marxists, Commies, Socialists, Progressives, Liberals, Globalists, Democrats...) are activists by nature. They simply cannot let well-enough alone. They cannot allow a well-oiled machine to stand and they must be the wrench thrown into the works. They will never, ever be satisfied, not even if they succeed in their quest to tear-down America and the Founding Fathers (and white people, by extension) who had the incredible foresight, intelligence and fortitude to develop and implement this grand experiment we call America. I call these subversives and their agenda the "Progressive Machine."

Now, contrast the Progressive Machine with Conservatives. Conservatives, by nature, want to be left alone. We're tired of all the insane BS and just want to go about our business. Conservatives are content in their Freedom (such as it was) and, generally, do not seek conflict, violence or radical transformation. There's a reason America is the land most aspired to by the rest of the world. There's a reason that America is the wealthiest country in the world. There's a reason that America has the most powerful military in the world and there's a reason America is "the shining city on the hill." The miscreants, the globalists, would have you believe otherwise. I say f*ck them, f*ck their ideals, and f*ck their agenda.

Conservatives are the "Silent Majority," despite what they would have you believe and Conservatives must get off their collective rear-ends and not only vote, but consistently stand up for what is right. Conservatives, literally, are the proverbial sleeping giant and when we've had enough we will be a force to be reckoned with. What's going on today in this country, indeed, what has gone on for decades with these Commies and their commie agenda, is just wrong. Let us honor the men and women of the past, who paid the ultimate price for our freedom and stand up for what is right!

I've never seen the inside of a Starbuck's. Hopefully I never will. Coffee comes from my Bunn coffee maker.

Early departure in certain airports, Starbucks is sometimes the only place to get coffee.

I like their coffee especially when I’m on a road trip and need to stay awake for long hours it’s thick $h!t.

To me there are a lot better reasons than the OP for not liking Starbucks chiefly their prices tho if you’re into a cup of good coffee you haven’t brewed yourself Starbucks is right around what gas stations charge. At least around here.

Remember a few years ago when they were encouraged to put up handgun free zone signs but declined saying they’d abide by local laws then they were gun owners’ best friends.

Logic of OP is like those who hate all police for what only some do. If ya don’t like Starbucks that’s cool but application of the Left’s “thinking” on these sorts of topics always strikes me as a bad idea.

I used to take dates there from time to time.
Then it got overrun by black SUVs doing steakouts and Saudis who would hit and run backing out of parking spaces......soyboys working behind the counter asking if I want a Grande' or a Tall. And I'm waiting to ask for someone to handle my drink that doesn't have a lisp and has been tested for AIDS. About that time it's good to sit down and wait for the gal who doesn't look like she sleeps with Habeeb to get me a refill.

Special discount for bringing your own stainless mug if you all really want to drink there. Personally, I hope their franchise goes the way of the Right whale.

I'll drink starbucks if its around.

I would drive 5 miles past a Starbucks to get a Peets coffee.

Or walk to the other terminal in the airport (unless I have to go outside security, screw that!)

I just remember a Starbucks in Mesa 10 years ago had a barrel, if you bought a pound of coffee to send to troops in Afghanistan, the.y would throw in another pound.

I liked that.

I've gone to two Starbucks several times, one on Ft Carson and the other on Camp Pendleton. One was in the building I was working in and the other was next door to my temporary quarters. Not a fan of the coffee, just the convenience.
