Hard to find any 9mm ammo in the Indy area, how about your area ? Has 9mm ammo become a commodity that's being hoarded ?

Yeah, about 4 months ago. Where you been? This. Since the start of the COVID panic. I have a couple of cases of range 9mm, and all the carry 9mm I need, though. Even still, my shooting of 9mm (or anything else, other than black powder) has been sharply curtailed since supplies dried up.

I'v been using Fiocchi in my CZ. Went to buy some more online, and found zip. Just like during the RF crunch, I started checking around now and then and finally found some. Waited a bit, then it was gone. Found some more and didn't wait, ordered. Just Winny HB, but it'll go bang and let me practice.
Just like the RF crunch, online is your friend. Don't go without, don't pay scalpers' prices. In normal times, some dealers around here have decent bulk prices, but these ain't normal times.

LGS had some commercial reloads and factory other brand ( "Grind Hard" ). The GH was 18 bucks a box. Got some to warm up my P30L https://www.grindhardammo.com/index.cfm?

To be honest, I haven’t been looking. I’ve got what the media describes as an arsenal, or what the Campfire describes as “moderately well armed”!  I have had a LGS fellow tell me that reloading powder is getting scarce, and I was looking around Sportsmans Warehouse, I saw that some of the powder and brass is getting bought up. I usually don’t worry too much except for rim fire, and both .22 LR and .22 WMRF are on the shelves around here. Matter of fact I picked up a couple of .22 mag for a friend in Oil City who said he couldn’t find it out there. 7mm

We have variety available: STV, Magtech, Geco, S&B, ZVS, PMC,.....the price is around .18 to .20 € per round of fmj. Usually when something is on special it will get sold out, but the rest will be on the shelves to buy. If you live in USA and need gun or ammo I would look for something in .45GAP, 9x18, .40S&W. The 9x19 would at this time be at the bottom of the shopping list.

Wonder how many other things have gone unnoticed? Oh please, you're not fighting anyone either, just buying up things because you think it will make you safer. It would be far smarter to go to Chinese market and buy few large sacks of rice instead. From price vs. consistency of performance I can recommend STV from Chech Republic.
