I bet you'd get a bigger rush from dumping the trans brake at 6000 RPM and packing the front wheels on that little '70 Hemi Cuda a 16th of a mile. that's fo sure.

Got two outside, Dodge Viper and a V-12 600 series MB, both triple black convertibles. Buddy is waiting to get his 600 series V-12 MB back after having the engine rebuilt (I told you not to take the rev-limiter off). He expects it to be 1100 hp after the rebuild. Personally, the sportiest I’ve driven is another buddy’s Aston Martin Virage convertible.

When I think sporty, I think small, light, quick responses and good power, but not necessarily the fastest car around. For me, that would be the early 2000s BMW Z3 with the 6 cylinder. Favorite driver ever.
For something bigger, heavier, less nimble but really damn fast (up to about 100), it was our old Tesla P85D. It handled well, but the launches were memorable and, at times, frightening.

Porsche Carrera, pre 911 body style. Dry sump 4 banger that had been driven in some of the Euro road races. Top end was only about 90, but it would go 0-60 so fast it made your eyes water.
I am..........disturbed.

My father in laws CJ7 with a body lift felt pretty sporty on windy days. The most impressive feeling new vehicle I have ever driven was a 92 GMC Syclone. It was very quick compared to contemporary cars and handled well.

Navy buddy had a 69 GTO that would go, drove it once and was impressed. Also drove a 72 Chevelle SS454 and drove it later with a 375-396 dropped in it, a dead stock 69-1/2 Z-28, a 69 Corvette, a 68 Torino GT that handled better than it accelerated. A similar deal with a 72 Gran Torino Sport with a 429. My 76 Trans Am was okay and I dogged it long enough to make it very, very tired. Uncle had a 76 Mustang with a little turbocharged 4-banger that was surprisingly quick for its time. It would smoke em.

I owned a MINT 1970 Mustang Mach 1. It was Grabber Orange with flat black accents. Shaker hood, black rear window louvers, Shelby wheels and radial T/A 50s all around. Auto trans with a B&M shift kit in it. That sucker would flat out fly. Then I got married.....Damn, I miss that car. Now I drive a 45th Anniversary 2009 Mustang GT. Much better handling, but not the raw horsepower of my old one.

1972 Volvo 1800 ES sport wagon. Dealer let me test drive it, Was a great handling car. Was going to buy it as my first car. I was 20 yrs old. Cost was $7200 which was a lot of money back then. Had the money but was talked out of it and ended up with a 72 Monte Carlo with 400 cube V8 for half the money.

I've driven Dino's and Panteras, too small for me. I've had a 72 LT-1 Corvette, 70 Chevelle SS, 70 Olds Cutlass 442, 2008 RS A6 Audi. All great fun in their own, different, way. My BIL has a little red Sunbeam Tiger with a 450 HP 289 in it that's quite the ride. Been in an original 427 Cobra, just incredible! The 69 RS Z28 Camero was fun too! Buddy's 69 Charger 440 Mag was a handful, another buddies 389 SuperBee was another one that was fun. Been fortunate, and unfortunate, with cars. Was a time the local cops stopped chasing me and just waited for me to come home to pick me up! Lol! And let's not get started on the motorcycles....

I'm boring..lol
Nothing fancy I have ever driven. I did get to drive an Abrams tank through Fort Pickett. That 120mm main gun gets people out of your way.
Been offered a chance to drive my father in laws girlfriends 2010 camaro. Twin turbo with a double shot. Only thing stock is the frame. Passed so far, I know my limits and my capabilities. She has an old blown willeys wagon with a blown 500 that is way out of my league.

Don't know what year or motor but it went real fast. The first run of them was from 1971 through 1974, they stop'd production because they could not pass front end collision standards. then they started again around 1995 under the guise of "low production" they came with 351 cleveland style engines Dean
