Thats correct. Where did you serve? Many hospitals in southern California are very full. And they are shipping patients 100s of miles because there are no beds? I call bs on that feel free to prove me wrong. PS most hospitals are pretty full most of the time even without the virus, it’s how they make money

Facts:
Covid 19 is a new virus introduced into the human population to which there was no previous exposure. Maybe previous exposure to one of the other more benign strains of corona viruses might give some people better protection, but that is conjecture. New virulent viruses can be rough on the population. Just ask the Incas after Pissarro showed up.
Next, it was CHINA that bungled the virus response first, followed by Italy.
China could have isolated this in Wuhan and they botched that. Once it was out of Wuhan, the world was phouced.
Italy’s healthcare system was overwhelmed so severely that panic started in the Western world. Had Italy not sheet the bed on this, the rest of the world would have had a more measured, rational response.
So don’t get pissed at Trump. He didn’t make the virus, screw the bat, or let it out of China. He’s advocated for effective treatment and is smart enough to understand that short of a vaccine that shows up within months, this will run through the world no matter what measures are taken. The only thing that is happening now is a steady march toward universal exposure and herd immunity. It’s just a matter of how slow or fast that occurs. hatari, you're nailing it. It's funny to watch, all this number tallying. How many new cases yesterday, as opposed to the day before that.. and the day before that.. and the day before that. Bulshit! Has anybody heard anybody talk about the number of flu infections or morbidity due to THE FLU? I haven't. The Chinese virus is running its course through the population. PERIOD. Like it or not, herd immunity will eventually stick its head up and win out (if it hasn't already), no matter what the fear mongering dumbasses on lamestream media throw out there day after day, night after night. ICUs generally stay 80-85% occupied OR hospitals lose money and CLOSE. Small market hospitals face just that. Add a global pandemic, and it is easy to see 10-15% increase. As long as hospitals are not over capacity, it is actually good and profitable. Once again, increase in positive tests has not caused an increase in hospitalizations or deaths.

Around the border between NM and Texas the town there have been sending folks to Lubbock for everything .
The Daughter in law works at a hospital and when this crap started they closed done the place for everything but this.
They had 2 floors set aside for them as well as the ER.
They had,at the time of the doom spell 7 folks there.
Had fewer folks at hospital for all of the other ailments.
They had the regular dummies that just wanted to get drugs.
The place let go a bunch of folks,now they claim they need money.
The Daughter and her Husband work at a hospital around Waco and they had the same thing done there.
A lot of them are not going to come back.
The little hospital here in the county did the same thing and they gave the floor nurses a chance to work the ER.
Some tried it one shift and they went home saying they would rather get the lay off money.
So far as i know only 1 person has died in county.
Yep i think they made a larger deal that they should have out of this thing.

Finally, I actually have a friend with Covid 19....he is weathering it well, and I hate to say I'm glad I know SOMEBODY that has it.....so I am reassured its not a total scam...

My cousin got it. He had to quarantine for 14 days with his wife and 3 boys 13 and younger. He lost taste and smell. They all survived and are no worse off. Life is back to normal etc, etc. I finally know someone who has had it and lived.
