I wear one if I'm going to be inside of six feet of others in public. Stores and the like. Otherwise no. If I'm with someone, I'll ask if they want masks on or off, keep a reasonable spacing.
But I do loathe wearing a mask. Just hate it. The good thing is, it speeds up the shopping and cuts back on impulse buying.

The non mask wearers more than likely don't wear seat belts, motorcycle helmets nor get their youngsters vaccinated. It's a free country, do as you please, just STFU about it ! What do masks have to do with seat belts or helmets?

Haven't except for half dozen times such as having to get a couple outfits licensed. During our fair which the health dept allowed us to have with qualifier that those in proximity of the ring should be masked up. A couple times when working for a client that requires it. They are writing my checks, I will do what they ask. Just like throwing on a hard hat on their site.
I don't wear one going into stores. If they insist I leave. Except for our local small grocery store. If the health dept got after him, they could shut him down and would get pretty serious for his business. So i respect the position he is in and will put a mask on to go into his store.

Mom and Dad (82 and 76) were in a Mennonite owned buffet last week.
There was a sign saying that they did NOT require masks.
Only concession was food was cafeteria style, not self-serve.
That was MD.
