People rap on California, but if you look on a map county by county and see which vote DemocRAT and which vote Republican, it will surprise you.....like most other places, the big cities vote democRAT and most of the other counties vote Republican...
if the LA Basin, The Bay Area, Potlandia and Seattle /Puget Sound were made into one state together, you'd see the entire left coast voting pretty damn conservative.... as conservative as any other area of the nation...
Laws in Oregon can be just as crazy.. How many of you filed your Oregon State Taxes this past year... Oregon Law states that each citizen from all states must file their taxes to Oregon.. of course its not enforceable.. but this is their way to go after people who have a part year residence here and somewhere else...
