I had a fair bit of good luck with Goodyear tires 20 or so years ago. But the last two sets I've bought in the last 8 years or so... have been rather pathetic.

They wear out very quickly it seems and I've had a tremendously disproportionate amount of bulges or other defects.

Even without their moronic political skullduggery I had already planned to never buy a Goodyear, Springfield or Dunlop product again.

If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

How long be fore that gets removed.

LMAO. Needed little maintenance. Clearly whoever wrote that never owned a Goodyear tire.

Plus those fuggers don’t buy tires. They steal them.

This is outrageous. I just got on their website and sent them a email, telling them I will never again buy Goodyear tires.
Also tried called their corporate headquarters ( 330-796-2121) to voice my concerns, but the line was busy. I hope everyone reading this will email and/or call them and let them know how you feel. If we flood their email and phone lines, then follow up by boycotting their tires maybe we can get OUR message across.

I bet their production of 22 and 24 inch tires goes up dramatically, since thats the audience they’re catering to

This is exactly what we need to do. Companies need to know their politics matter.

How can this policy legally stand?

One political slogan is OK, but others are not?

1st Ammendment.

How many times does it need to be said here that the Constitution, in this case the 1st Amendment, doesn't apply to private citizens or businesses? Only limits infringement on individual rights by government.

Doesn't in any way make Goodyear's actions less outrageous, just not illegal.

Paul

The 1st Amendment is a protection against governmental censorship.

Call your local Goodyear stores and ask the owner when he became a Communist. I just did and heard "ohhh, not another one" before he hung up.

I bet, possibly depending on location, individual store owners may not be on board with corporate on this.
