He has finally abused his first set of binoculars to the point that their useful life is over. Wanting to get a pair a rangefinding binoculars in the 10x range. What would be a good solid pair to look at? Does not need ballistics capable, but if they have it fine. No, he cannot have my Leica's and that level of glass is well out his range financially at this time. Budget would be under$1000 preferably. Arcus Venator

Might be a little bit of a stretch, but for the extra $200 I would think it would be well worth it.

Good option no matter what your price range, but for what you are looking for he is probably your only option.
