Trump looked like Trump, which is entirely too much personality for many people. Joe looked OLD and his stuttering is an SNL skit if they had the balls to do it. Trump saved Joe a few times by interrupting, Joe was looking worse the more he talked. I think Trump could have buried him with a bit of restraint. I am not sure what an independent got out of it.

That was the most sorryass excuse for a debate I have ever seen. Reminded me of two sixth graders fussing with each other out on the playground. Not one solid answer to even one question posed, only shouting over each other and hurling personal insults. Sad. I am a Trump fan, but totally agree. It was a ClusterFugg. However, a caveat, I know that the mod said that neither party had seen the questions, but IMHO the questions were designed to frustrate Trump and show him in the worst possible light! ya! GWB My overall impression as well. I noticed too Biden looking down numerous times apparently reading prepared notes to certain questions asked. Toward the end he was starting to sound a bit confused, stammer, slur pronunciations and blink his eyes frequently. I hate to say it but Biden had Trump on the defensive most of the debate.

Give one candidate 3 minutes. Give the other candidate 3 minutes. They can use their time to rebut what the other candidate said or to discuss whatever it is they want to discuss.

In the first few minutes, it was clear that Joe was struggling to piece together coherent sentences. I have no idea why you would interrupt that repeatedly. Trump did much better with Hilary. He calmly let her babble, then he delivered simple zingers and dropped the mic. This was just 90 minutes of noise.
Progressives are the most open minded, tolerant, and inclusive people on the planet, as long as you agree with everything they say, and do exactly as you're told.

Can you say, trainwreck? I wouldn't call it a train wreck, but it wasn't pretty. Trump was not prepared and did not look presidential. Looked surly and angry and the constant interruption impressed no one and made him look defensive. How can someone be prepared for a hostile moderator that shuts down everything you want to say? Go back and count the number of times Trump interrupted the debate, of course Wallace has to try to 'moderate'. Christ, I was waiting for fisticuffs to break out. Trump's constant interrupting was what Biden was counting on. It made him look unconfident and small. He needed to be presidential. Let lyin Biden answer and then hit it out of the park.
