Biden was able to appear more lucid than I had expected. Biden did screw up pretty badly and spewed nonsense on the "green energy" subject. Trump blundered several times by interrupting Biden when he was screwing up.

Understand your point completely and don't want Trump to be a "nice guy". It's not a matter of being "presidential" as you say. It's an obvious difference of opinion on what's more effective. Trump has the high ground on the issues. Calmly letting Biden babble for 2 minutes and then eviscerate him with facts- MIC drop. Many of the people who watched the debate don't know a lot of information that you typically hear at a Trump rally because they haven't heard any of it from 90% of the media. They have been fed a completely one-sided story, almost all anti-Trump. This was Trump's perfect opportunity to deliver that message to those people. All they heard was 90 minutes of noise and probably won't watch again. That's assuming if Biden ever does another debate, which I highly doubt.
