IIRC, it did better than the later 'I am woman'
but IAW seriously helped her solidify her road
to success.... I'm not sure she fully agreed
with the way the women's movement adopted
and ultilized her song for their cause... She was
not the feminazi type man hater some made her
out to be... but Helen can't fully control how they
promote her material to their own advantage.
