In that photo, your mother looks to be a lovely, strong and happy woman. My thoughts are with you, for his is not easy - I miss my MOM every day. Congrats of what sounds like a very fitting and memorable service.

it seems to be the consensus you will be missing her for a long while. Been my experience so far too, that goes for my siblings.
Wonderful that you were able to remember her at home, without the .gov restrictions, so all her friends and family could come. An excellent workaround.

My Mother passed from that insidious theft of life in numerous ways Alzheimer's, she was the one person who loved me no matter what, wife and kids waver, not Mom...

Lost my Dad a few years back. Mom is still with us. It is rough to say the least.
