Here's a nice rare one in excellent condition. Wood, bore and bluing look great. Just some of the typical paint chipping on the floorplate and trigger guard. Nice trigger. $1200.00 shipped Includes a set of RCBS dies. Shipping to lower 47 from an individual to FFL. Alaska may be a little extra. Send me a pm and I can text additional pictures. A couple possible trade interests: Kimber Classic Select in 7mm-08 Ruger skeleton stock 77/22 mag Leupold 2.5x8 or 3.5x10 - B&C

The mountain rifles were short. Classics were long.

That’s a real beauty T! Those older model Mtn rifles can’t be beat.

They made them in both long and short action. I know because I have owned one of each. The long action was a special run for a company I can't think of right now, it wasn't Lew Horton but same type of deal.

Well, this one is a short action, which is plenty for this cartridge.

If I had only seen this before I knew I needed a new roof.

I haven't hunted deer in 15+ years being 80 years old. BUT , if i did want to deer hunt, this would be about as good a deer rifle as you could ever want. Bump it up for a really nice rig.

Great rifle!
I only have a couple regrets for rifles I have sold, but this particular rifle is one of them. Tempted, but I am out of the quarter bore game and am not going down that road again.
Here is a bump.

Thanks!
Price drop. $1100 shipped.
Still could use a Leupold 2.5x8 BC or 3.5x10 BC in trade.

“Surprised this is still here” bump. Even has a nice piece of walnut.
I have a 3-9x36 Kahles on the same rifle. Makes for a terrific combo...as would the 2.5-8x36 Leup. Mine likes the Hornady SST factory load very much.
Fear the crabcat.
