Been awhile since we've dropped an elk around here..... Wife headed out Thursday am for first morning of three day cow season, she wasn't out the front door 45 seconds and "boom!"..shocked the puddin' out of me, seemed odd but wife is very careful with her Kimber Montana .308 'on safe' and overall gun etiquette. So...about fifty yards from the shop on the trail to the back tree stand was a great mature cow elk and my wife beaming ear to ear.
