I finally found a pic of my old tractor. I did the reese hitch thing to the front like JackRyan did too. Used it to mostly push boats and trailers around the yard.

I regret getting rid of it.

I got my tractor out today to sweep leaves around the house. Normally use the lawn mower to pull this but I used my "tow" bar across the 3pt hitch and pulled the sweeper AND the wagon at once and when the sweeper was full just move the leaves in to the wagon. Pick up 5 times as many leaves for every trip to go dump them. Wish I'd tried this ten years ago, that mower sure would have lasted a lot longer. I can pull both these with the tractor just idling.

OK...drove a Yanmar 424 and Kubota 2601. Both dealers are close to me and very well rated. I liked both, prefer the kubota because it's a class 1, 3 point hitch and I liked the tilt steering.

Started the 0% financing paperwork on the 2601 with a bucket, box blade, and 3 point trailer hitch. And, the dealer is going to weld a reese hitch to the bucket for me. I can weld it to hold...but my weld will look like a dirt dobber mated with some bubble gum. I should pick up the orange mini-beast before the weekend.

Congrat's to ya.
Did your Dealer have one in the yard or did they have to order you one.
When I purchased mine they had to order it and it took about 6 or so weeks to get it.

They had them in the yard. I drove both today. The tractor has a sold tag with my name on it while they weld up and get it ready for me. I can't wait, so excited.

I called the salesman and asked him to weld a reese hitch on the box blade too...might as well.

I think you made a good choice with the Kubota over the Yanmar.

Enjoy! Be safe.

I had one and it was a great machine... the only “repair” was a bad o ring in the control valve!! It was the house machine and only got about 50-60hrs a year or so, and never missed a beat. Like all my machines it was replaced for something bigger.... and the 4066r I got to replace it is actually too big for its purpose and I somewhat regret the upgrade because of it.

Thats a very good machine you have, and in its class, at the time (not sure of current 30-35hp specs) was the best spec wise of all the machines. I was very impressed. That FEL is a beast for the hp size.

I didnt buy a Kioti this last time due to dealers being far away, and I have two competing JD chains on either side of me.

Chain hooks should be standard equipment on frontend buckets. I had to add mine to my JD, yours factory or did you add them. Looks good. If you did it, you're a little better welder than I am. I'm a guerilla welder, ugly but strong. Well, kind of strong.

Here’s a couple pics of my Branson 3725. I’ve been very happy with it. I bought mostly for the sawmill but find I’m using it a lot more than expected.

I built a 1500 pound counterweight for the three point hitch to make picking up logs and stacks of lumber a bit easier.

Good looking rig. That weight should do the trick.

The weight makes a huge difference. The tractor has plenty of lifting capacity but even though it’s one of the heaviest in its class, it makes moving big logs to the mill easier

He is a helluva welder/fabricator....

I researched and then bought the Kubota B3030 years ago and it has been bullet proof.

That's some awesome welding! A great lifeskill to have...I really like the idea of the chain hooks on the bucket.

Thanks for sharing the kioti and branson pics - nice rigs.
