I see that they are still fairly popular with the French CDNs on their stainless Browning Medalions.

They bring high dollars over on ebay. Thank god people there like leupolds too. Ive sold leupolds and silver scopes that were on rifles I bought. Damn near for as much as I paid for the rifle and scope together. The last one I did that with was a Ruger m77 mkII with a silver leupold 3-9×40. Sold that sucker on ebay for $325.00. That means I only have $175.00 into the rifle now. Ill search out deals like that.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I assume the fact that they look gay was a big deciding factor Yeah, probably this. Then why are they still building 6.5 Creedmore rifles?

Says same thing....huge draw for those silver scopes and makes a killing flipping them.

Send your black scopes to Shaen Precision Rifles and have them Cerakoted silver.
Just don't tell him I sent ya!
Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

So they went down the same road as Ruger #3s?

Now that Leupold and others stopped making them, they now seem to be a hot item and being sold at ridiculous prices. With rifles now having SS finished barrels there seems to be a strong market for silver finished scopes. Swift still makes them but not sure if any other scope manufactures do. Let me get this straight. I will be hunting with a silver colored scope gleaming in the sun for what animal???

So they went down the same road as Ruger #3s? The No. 3 is plain, but not offensively ugly (at least in my opinion).

There are so many things gleaming in the sun out there that a silver scope would be the least of worries.......
