Seems like there are a few current country music folks that are wanna be rappers, making redneck urban jungle songs. Not a big fan of the trend.

No such thing as 'Country Rap'. There is country music and there is rap noise. Most of what comes out of Nashville these days is not what I call country music..... but what do I know.

Rap and Country (as referring to music ) do NOT belong in the same sentence. My country music in high school/college and beyond consisted of people like George Jones, Dolly Parton, Reba McIntyre, Randy Travis, Keith Whitley, Travis Tritt, Doug Stone, Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, The Forrester Sisters, Statler Brothers, Alabama, Vince Gill, Patty Loveless, Ricky Skaggs, early Dixie Chicks, Don Williams (one of my favorite) Rickey Van Shelton, Charlie Daniels, the Oak Ridge Boys, Sara Evans, LeeAnn Womack, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, John Schneider, And the King of Country in my book Mr. George Strait And I know many more should/could be added...
