I miss the days of having those little ashtrays (and being able to smoke) in airplanes. Nothing said civilized travel more than a plane full of smoke and smoldering butts.

I still have my grandads. Brown porcelain with an alligator. A souvenir from a trip my aunt took to Florida in the 60’s. Sits on a shelf above my desk. Weird the [bleep] that reminds you of someone.

My hunt club is a museum of ash trays.......lm the only member that doesn't smoke.....the rest cant figure out why they dont see deer while having brushes with cancer.

How bout them bean bag ones. You could set them on the dash of your 69 Coup de Impala or your knee watching Bonanza. Maternal Grandmother liked the plaid fabric ones.

Just the other day i got a lead Cristal ash tray from my Mother in law.
Won't use it but i have a few of the tire types i got from the tire store.

Still have one of those round glass ash trays with a small rubber car tire around it as if the ashtray is the wheel. Forgot what the tire brand is but it's a promotional item that tire stores and gas stations had back in my childhood in the 50's & 60's. Haven't seen it in years, ( I don't smoke ) but I have it here someplace.
