That might me a Carcano bayonet. I seem to remember the Arisaka type 99 bayonet had a curved quillion. But it sure looks like a last ditch 99 bayonet Do you recognize the marking, it's an M with the arrow through it.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but you might want to read up on those National Ordinance 1903-A3 rifles. I bought one from K-Mart when I was in high school in the early 60's. It wouldn't feed shells from the left hand side of the magazine. I took it back. I think the parts were all good original military surplus but the actions were newly made. Hope yours works out to be a good one.

This 12ga. has the extra extra thick wall barrel profile option. LOL. It seems to be a little sloppy tool. Maybe I'll send it to Beaver, he likes them sloppy.
