Pretty much, unless you knew they were there.

I know where there’s a one owner 58 Panhead sitting with flat tires. Sitting where it’s owner, he was 89 or 90 at the time, parked it about 6-7 years ago. I’m not a motorcycle guy but thought it was pretty cool that the old guy had kept it all those years.

Hey, I'll send you some blank 4473's so you can get them on the books, right?

Nice find, them old houses can hide a lot of neat things.
One thing I started to do many years ago is to hide stuff in the houses I've owned as I did some remodeling.
Someday someone will fine some unopened Cabela's Catalogs, junk mail from Presidential Elections, Local Newspaper from the day I drywall over the new stud wall and in a few cases a new crisp $1 bill with my Business Card attached.
I live in a town that has a lot of early 1800's homes, so I know people take care of them. I figure even 50 years from now if they find some of those things they''ll get a kick out of it, can't imagine what they'll think of a Cabela's Catalog in 2120

i think that was probably a kit gun, that was assembled, stock sanded etc. I have one just like it, got as christmas present after the jerimiah johnson movie. first time i shot it with that big piece of lead, took about a 12inch piece of a pine tree down out of the tree.
awesome weapon.

What do you mean? They look *just* like original CVA Hawkens! laugh

Anyway, I like those Thompson's a little better than the CVA - they were made for TC Maxiballs!

Definitely some cool finds, but as stated previously do some research on Natl Ordinance 1903A3s before you shoot it.

An old Black man who lived in a little cabin on a small piece of property died years ago.......and local gossip had it that he buried what little money he had in the woods behind his house. The rumor took hold, because another Black man in the community confessed to me that he had spent time over there with a metal detector looking, and then was told the story was just a hoax. Anyway, to make a long story short, the place was sold to the Mennonites, and I told them about the supposed buried treasure. They took a backhoe and dug up half the woods looking for it.
