the salesman on the phone said to email my dealers FFL to galazanmsn.com
Did anybody else send theirs to same location?
Yes address is the same as CSMC, appears to be the side of the business they run mostly AR's and import shotguns through... Once i figured that out i felt better about the legitimacy of the deal. Our at least that these people really existed.
Very nice rifle at any price, but for $510 delivered its exceptional IMO.
Nice!
Can anyone confirm the LOP on these? Nothing on the Mauser website or in the manual. One review said 14.5" IIRC. That seems long for a factory rifle.
I just bought 2 Sauer 100 xt's and they both seem to have a bit longer length of pull. From feel I'd say they are at least 14 but I'm 6'2" so it works well for me. I really like the way they feel. Maybe it's a German thing?
Just a word of caution. After a more thorough inspection, these rifles must have been sitting for a while. I noticed a hue to the bluing. A wipe with a white rag revealed orange. A swab of the bore followed. Very dark orange. A thorough cleaning ensued.
After having purchased new old stock rifles in the past, I don’t find this out of the ordinary.
Give me land, lots of land, under starry skies above. Don't fence me in.
And you'll keep talking as well once you pick yours up!
I need to take a better pic but i got the old Husky out last night to meet its much younger cousin. I know the M12 isn't an old school Mauser in every sense but they're attention and understanding of building a natural, fast handling rifle hasn't changed. Both of these point better for me than many shotguns and just as fast. Too bad only the Husky has open sights.
