Did I mention Walmart sells it reasonably? For all we know you bought it there last week. Assumptions go both ways.

Well he sure didn't buy it for what he's selling it for

The reaction of some people too ignorant to understand simple economics is downright hostile. You immediately assume gouging. You have no idea what I paid for the ammo. When I make a simple charitable Christmas gesture like offering to bear the shipping cost you belittle that offer or say it is the result of peer pressure. Not knowing at all that I privately offered free shipping to the first person who inquired about the ammo. When I joined this forum 12 years ago I thought the members polite and helpful. I don't know why or when but the trend now seems that many post only to criticize and bloviate. There’s plenty of ammo to be had at unreasonable prices on GunBroker. I’m fortunate that I won’t run out of ammo any time soon. Unless you are a retailer that has to increase prices because either they have to pay more for their product or they have to increase the price because they can’t get enough product to sell and stay in business, then you are part of the problem of this pricing.

Christmas gesture by paying for shipping? Maybe I would believe that if you said how much you made on this transaction, and you are by no means obligated to do that, but I think calling any part of this a Christmas gesture is a stretch. As far as not saying anything if you don’t have something nice to say, well, if you can’t handle comments maybe public forums aren’t for you.

Our local Wal Mart had Winchester M22 in 1000 round packs for $47.65 today, had 5 packs of them, I scored on 2 pounds of Varget for $32.85 a pound.
