Congrats Fotis.

Question: I get 3,140 fps for 225gr TTSXs loaded by Corbon: https://shopcorbon.com/index.php?ro...oduct_id=72&mfp=11-type-of-cartridge[Rifle]&page=3

Could you get more than 3,180 fps with 225gr bullets in the .338-375 if you wanted to do so? Or is Corbon pushing the limits too far with the .340?

I can't say for sure. Either some kind of special canister powder or at the pressure limits.
I can tell you that after I reached that particular velocity and my 338-378 and this type of accuracy I just stopped. See below.

Thanks for the reply, Fotis. Nice grouping.

The one above is the most accurate load I ever have shot in any rifle. I have shot scores of them, with no issues, except that once, and only once, the bolt kind of stuck a bit. So, I was wondering if they were pushing it a little much. I was chronoing them at 3,160 fps ten years ago, but the loads I have bought in the last seven or so years have come out 20 fps lower. So, unless it's a chrono aberration, they may have lightened the load a bit.

If the bolt stocks then they are pushing some pressure. The best I can get from my 340 Bee is 3150 fps with the 210 TTSX.

That's what I was thinking, but, since it's only happened once, I keep shooting it because it's soo dang accurate outta my Accumark.
