Try using a 12 gauge 6-point crimp starter.
I just used one last week to load a large batch of 20 gauge hulls on a 9000. The 12 gauge crimp starter crimped great for the little 20 gauge shells. It should be at least as good for 16s. I’ll use it myself for my next batch of 6 point 16s.
Now an old timer at one of my clubs had recommended the smooth 12 gauge paper crimp starter for loading 20 gauge 6 point hulls. I have one of the smooth ones for paper hulls. I tried it with the 20 gauge 6 point hulls but it didn’t work that well for me. Ugly crimps.
Good luck!
