The TV show “Frazier” made em popular and a bunch of ruined/inbred/docile examples were cranked out for the pet trade. The original Jack Russel came in a variety of sizes, all were bloodthirsty as weasels and when/if they got loose would take off to look for stuff to kill. Great dogs if you want that sort of thing.
