'preciate it, you don't look like you're doing to bad yourself. laugh Was talking to a friend today about tailgating, gonna try to get a regular group together to hang out with this year. Park in the same spot every week, cook, etc. Walking all over campus toting an ice chest is getting old. laugh I'll let you know if anything that resembles a plan comes together.

Sounds like we've got a campfire get-together brewing? Wonder if any of the other Auburn fans on the board are coming down for the game?

I used to be in a pretty large group that did the regular tailgate thing ... did it for about 7 years in a row, same place everytime ... right across the street from the Indian Mounds on the corner between the drive to Broussard Hall and the 'split' down to the back of the PMAC ...

Once all of us started having kids, and LSU put up all the bollards to keep cars off the grass, it kinda ruined our spot ... so we basically disbanded ...

But, of course I'll encourage you to get a group together so that I'll have yet another party to drop in on each game ... possibly set up some plans with you to be part of the party for a game or two and supply some food/drink ...

anyway, we DO need to get some plans for the LSU vs. AU game and see who can make it ... short of a hunting trip, I can't think of a better set of circumstances for a get-together of friends ...

For the past 6 or 7 years I've done the walk around from party to party thing trying to see everyone. Am thinking it would be a nice change of pace to let everyone come to me. Whatever we get going, I'll let you know. Assuming we do get a group up I'll be glad to host the campfire for the Auburn game.

This has been one of the most enjoyable threads in a long time. Makes me feel a bit guilty not posting any pics. So here goes...

WHAT?...Walking with 20 guys following you?

LOL.......Well, actually I don't mind. I'm a nice girl, I felt bad for them. Following me to see what I landed was the only way they saw any fish that day. grin laugh

It sounds like you had a little to much fun. grin grin grin

That is why you need to share this experience so we don't make the same mistake! grin

A Fireman carry into the house is better than a Fireman carry out of the house ! grin

Elf,

Rockland Lake, about 10 minutes from our home.

Looks-wise, Stephen seems to have the best from Sheila and me (thankfully more from Sheila). At 4 he weighs 50+ solid pounds. He also inherited my hard-headedness and Sheila's stubborness cry What a mix! Overall, he's a very happy kid who thinks he can charm his way through life. To a great degree he has been successful.

He does look like a handful but a fun handful. Kids they sure do keep you hopping. I'll have to add pics next month when I return from my oldest's wedding.
