This whole "hate the boomers" thing is just a prelude to nationalizing (aka confiscating) those trillions of dollars sitting in those 7 figure retirement funds. Someone's gonna have to pay for the $trillions of new "Government funded" gimme dats thrown out to the country.

Younger folks with little in retirement savings won't care and if they have been brainwashed to accept that ALL people born in a certain time period are evil, greedy bastards deserving of punishment then passage of legislation will be easy and probably readily supported by the majority of people. People love to hate people and it's even more satisfying when that is actively encouraged.

And before anyone nominates me for KOTY (besides the fact that it's still very early for that), even one month ago I would have definitely agreed with you that it's too far fetched.

But watching Congress, Big Tech and the Media - the latter two being the real arbiters of True Evil these days - working so quickly and so completely in sync to totally destroy any dissenting voice or group makes me think this is something we'll see in the next four to six years, or maybe sooner. My best guess is that it will be a campaign plank for 2024 since the economy will have been totally destroyed by then and the Mother f*cking Ass Hole Pieces of Scum Sucking Sh*t, uh, I mean Congress and the President for Life CamelToe will need a scapegoat, and those Jüdische Ratten Boomers are the most visible candidates.

Just spreading more cheer on a Monday morning....

Their voting influence years were 1980, when they got the majority voting numbers, to 2008 if you add the greatest gen with them as a voting block. Responsible for Reagan, Clinton and Bush... not responsible for LBJ, Nixon, Carter... there's 71 million alive still.

By 2008, GenX and GenY(millennials) had pretty much evened out Boomers and greatest in voter numbers.

GenX... born 1965 to 1980, 15 year spread, 40 to 55 years old, 65 million alive.

GenY... born 1981 to 1996, 15 year spread, 24 to 39 years old, 72 million alive... matching boomer voting age since 2014.

GenZ... 8 to 23... 68 million... at least 20 million voting age.

Right now there are about 100 million boomers and greatest gen alive vs about 157 million GenX,Y,Z voting age.

Obama up to this chit isn't on us Boomers. Somehow we get blamed from LBJ up to today...

Yet GenX,Y and now Z could have cleaned the house of boomers in politics since 2008...

You all are getting what your generations are voting for, rioting for, we should be bitching at you.

Regardless of how I was taught to react, behave, think and feel, and regardless of how I was raised...once I became a grown man, my decisions were mine. I own em’. And blaming my decisions on how I was raised or on anyone or anything else is irresponsible. I’m an adult, continuing to hold someone else accountable for my decisions is not only childish, but it’s also counterproductive; and it doesn’t help me change for the better by making better decisions.

Boomers are only responsible for the next generation parenting wise... gen x... gen x grew up in peacetime mostly, only had one short war, the Gulf war... they had it pretty good in the 80s and 90s. Vs boomers fighting in Vietnam and gen y fighting in Iraq. Unfortunately the wars a generation must fight, as in young men fight old men's wars, often define them.

A war doesn't define gen x like the boomers and millennials... the advent of cable tv, multi media, computers, big tech, rap music, sexual identity freedom... define gen x.

With the parenting logic, boomers were great parents, gen x had the best years ever... and parented gen y, who are in control now.

Interesting take. You still haven't answered it no doubt it's uncomfortable. How many times have we seen people post about their kids being liberals or bringing home some manbun wearing socialist hipster they meet in their women's study class? Or making bad choices in general?

News flash, they learned it while growing up, and if you weren't teaching them then someone else was. If you fall into this category I'm guessing it's because you weren't around a whole lot or active in your kids' life while they were growing up. From the sound of it it's because you had to work 3 jobs to pay the bills. Maybe that's it, only you can judge you and where your priorities were then.

I know all the freaks and liberals that I grew up with were that way because of either a defunct home life or not one at all to speak of. Parents were always off doing the own thing. To blame the kids for how they turned out is just passing the buck, ultimately it's the parents. No doubt there are other factors but this one i think is the biggest.

I agree with a lot of this. Each generation is the product of the one before. Also the influence of each time period. The rebellion against respectful good clean living started with the hippies and spiraled from there.

I and a lot of other genXers fought post 9/11, it wasn't a short war.

Yes they did fight but it was gen y that were the 18 to 21 years old, same with the Vietnam war. Problem when you are 18, you fight the war but don't have the voting power as a generation... and that's a bitter pill.

You can also say the lesson of Vietnam gave us many years of no war that hadn't happened in a long time, because of the boomers.

Mine too, I'm friends with lots of "boomers". Only they don't blame me for the past elections though or say they were the extension of the greatest generation and everyone younger than them sucks.
