Did you ever find your H&R? no. my son might have it squirreled away somewhere. I once misplaced a double pistol case with 2 Ruger MKII's in it, both wearing red dots. I eventually found it safe and sound, right where I left it. The thing that bothered me the most was how long it was before I noticed that the weren't where I thought they were. It was a long period that it would be more convenient to measure it in years instead of months.

Original Ithaca 37s can still be found on GB at reasonable prices, not as low as a couple of years ago, but still pretty good. Just stay away from anything that looks like it was military or police-issue.
I got a very nice 20ga Deerslayer a couple of years ago for $375. Now it might be $500 or so. Still beats spending a few hundred on crap.
What fresh Hell is this?
