Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

Yes, I've hunted the UP several times. I brought a bow. The guys in camp had retarded guns like a 300 Weatherby and high power scopes to try and shoot a scrawny ass deer at 40 yards.
You post a pic of a doe wrapped in a tarp, not sure if you're bragging or complaining? Shooting does is like banging fat chicks, have some self respect, don't post proof. Maybe don't hunt with idiots? The UP isn't known for "scrawny" deer. Sounds like your deer camp was a goat fuuck all around. If you were hunting with guys shooting scrawny deer in the UP, well, that explains a LOT......

Goalie, serious question, do you use binoculars while hunting? Yeah. 8x. I'd have gone by a lotta deer without seeing them if I didn't use binos still hunting.

Thanks. I was wondering if you used bino's or not. I have to in the thick stuff. I don't use my scope to ID objects, and I need magnification to see them when they are hiding/bedded. They are not as critical when I'm in a stand, because then I'm just seeing deer I don't have a shot at. And if I do get a shot, I would see/hear them coming without binos. I've had a few "I wish I hadn't seen that deer" moments over the years from the stand.

I understand using the bino's in the thick stuff, cause you're looking for bits and pieces of the deer. Believe it or not I do the same thing while hunting here in New Mexico, you have to see the animal before it sees you. Except I use 12x while walking. I use those cause I can also look at a deer cross canyon and be able to see if the deer is a legal animal or not.
