Here is a very nice Savage 99 sn 92253 made in 1909 cal. is 30-30, overall rifle is very clean for a for a 110 plus yr old gun. It sports a working Lyman rear peep sight, the rear receiver blade has another notch on rightside, not sure why. There is a small professedly repaired crack to the buttstock (see pic) and the butt plate has been swapped out and is from a Remington (which fits perfectly) stock hasn’t been altered for it, so should be no problem switching it out for a correct Savage plate. Cartridge counter works, it loads and unloads smoothly. All in all a very nice old school classic. Rifle will be shipped to an FFL or C/R from a private citizen (I will include a copy of my DL in box) Payment: Paypal F&F or +3%, USPO Money or check (will wait to clear) Price: to sell at $700 shipped to lower 48, AK and HI extra Pics link: https://imgur.com/a/lZAf1TbFirst post here of “I will take it” trumps pm’s…maybe cross posted…. I can take more pics if needed Thanks Al

I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

This sounds like a solid shooter in a caliber that should be easy to find ammo for.

My question is why does it have to go through an FFL?
Ain't she old enough to travel directly to buyer?
Nice handy model E? Or is she something different?

Nice handy model E? Or is she something different? In state it could go person to person . Needs to be pre 1898 and not designed to use a current manufactured cartridge i think for out of state travel.
