Another vote for the Meopro. I bought a 6X42 on the classifieds here for well under $400 shipped.

X3. Usually less than $500 used. Yep I got one here for 20% less than that; a great value.

I use Meopta loosely. Meopta meopro. Zeiss conquest. Cabelas instinct.

Never heard of meopta. I’ll check them out. I have leupold, Nikon, vortex, but I’m interested to see where all the love is now a days. I’ve seen lot of leupy bashing lately and I’m not a fan or China glass even though lots probably use them without notice.

Whats the buzz on the Meopta Meopro? They look very basic for the money?

So you believe the "Leupy" bashing, but not the .270W bashing. Makes sense.

Whats the buzz on the Meopta Meopro? They look very basic for the money? Solid dependable scopes. They don’t appeal to the turret twisters. I love em for low light deer hunting. Meopta made the Zeiss conquest line. Meopros / Zeiss conquest / cavelas instinct all assembled in USA.

Meopro 3-9x40 is $500 at opticsplanet plus Take10 coupon gets you 10% off, so $450 free shipping. Maybe get a better shop to price match it...

Another vote for the Meopro. I have 4 of them and would gladly add more if I needed more scopes.

Meopta made the Zeiss conquest line. Meopros / Zeiss conquest / cavelas instinct all assembled in USA. All the same great scopes, just different badging. Some will pay a little more for the name, and in the end that one will sell for a higher dollar amount as well, if you care about resale value. If you don't care about such things, buy the one that says "Cabela's" on the side of it..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Cabelas Convenant line is suppose to be a rebadged Meopta also...
Lifetime warranty and less than $500.00...
Available also in 4 x 16 and 6 x 24..... with MOA and MIL reticles...
I'm not a scope snob... If it works and I can see well out of it... that is good enough...
most of the stuff I shoot are not real hard kickers anymore...
