Safety ----as in someone might get accidentally shot and killed. --- Warning shot would not have to be directed over the heads of the the mob. I'm sure one could find a non human target to shoot at and would not endanger any human. The report of the gun may have been enough to turn the mob away. Watch the video and you tell me.
