It's got a Timney trigger, has been pillar bedded and free floated. Shoots great! Such a simple setup and it's been used to take antelope, mule deer, black bear, elk, wolf and grizzly. So pleased with this rifle:

I thought the hornady leverevolution stuff was going to be great but it shot awful. love the ergos of the 77/ rugers. my 1st gen 77/22 shoots great without bolt shims, a threaded barrel, or anything else. one of these days ill grab a 77/357 Uber Demanding Rifle Aficionado
