I'll help anyone out, my best buddy always said, add a person add a problem. I've lost two good friends and my best dog in the last few years. And to be honest I don't have the time or energy to have anymore.

I refuse to have a friend that's down on his luck or having health problems.

I have two friends that would roll with me if we were pretty damn sure we weren't coming back. Might be three, working on another now. A man doesn’t need too many if the ones he has are exceptional. At another level, my wife is that loyal, and would die right next to me if it came to us. Hell, she lives right next to me, dying there would be easier.

Man with a family like Jim’s shouldn’t be in any danger. He’s got it all to live for. Those kids, hell, I don’t even know them, but I would be running to help if they needed it. Smiles like that are too precious. Parents have to be good folks, and are in my good folks list.

Jim this virus has changed allot of things. We used to have family here at our house for Sunday dinner. Now they won't get out. Don't want me around either. I think the virus has been an excuse at times though. I am on one side of many things some of my family dislikes. I'm conservative and believe in making my own way so the current slime in charge really bothers me. They know that and that's why the stay away. I've decided staying away is fine now.

Then the friend part. I might have more than I realize. Most likely you do too. All this political stuff happening has stressed that. I haven't changed though and don't understand why they have or seem to. But the clincher is looking ahead. I see our nation in for a bad time and our values are under attack. It's okay for a pervert to go into the girls bathroom but if I drag the dirty piece of trash out by the hair of the head I likely get arrested. Sometimes I feel like my world is closing in all around me. What do I do, I take long walks and talk with God about it. That's been my refuge for years. When it all breaks loose and the shooting starts we'll likely be on the same side.

Grandpa used to tell me to be encouraged. I'll pass that on from him to you.

You have a pretty wife, a Labrador retriever and an 8N Ford tractor to drive to the liquor store and some broken shot guns needin' some fixin'. You have it all.

Just take up taxidermy....every fall my "friends" come out of the woodwork looking for a deal. 🙄

Having an abrasive personality, I had few friends for years. My folks used put a beef bone in my pocket so the dogs would play with me. But then I got a nice ocean going fishing boat...wow, had friends beatin' my door down.

I've got gas money next ablie season. I can meet you over on the coast or at your place and I'll ride over with you.

I just call them on the phone, no need to mail a sample, and they tell me I'm all in the clear and that I'm juss full of crap...

I stole that off my neighbor’s porch. I was going to drop a giant 3 day tylenol log in it and go put it on his porch all sealed back up.
