Mac, Here's what it looks like out of a 24" barrel:
Cartridge : 6.5 PRC
Bullet : .264, 140, Nosler PART SP 16321
Useable Case Capaci: 67.236 grain H2O = 4.366 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.955 inch = 75.06 mm
Barrel Length : 24.0 inch = 609.6 mm
Powder : Alliant Reloder-26 *C
Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 0.82% of nominal charge.

have both powders you have mention but i prefer Reloader 26 better

R26 seems hot to me, I couldn't get to max without signs.. im right at 56 grains.

Man those are some crazy hot loads. I’m at 56 gr with a 139 scenar at 3060, cannot imagine going up to 60 gr!

Thanks, had a Sig 100 that was accurate but heavy. Sold it and now have a Mossberg Patriot Predator I like. Have loaded/shot H1000 w/130 Accubond and 129 ABLR less than an inch but no cigar. The stuff Antelope Sniper sent indicate a 2.955 oal and I'll shoot for that (no pun) be may be limited by short action/box. Thinking of starting at 56 of R26 and go up in 1/2 gr. Increment til I get pressure signs/back off to last and take it slowly if at all up from there .1 at a time. See what I get.

Hove used both in the PRC with140's...R26 is about 100 ft./sec faster. Both in my rifles shoot about the same accuracy with maybe a slight edge to H 1000. Both are getting impossible to find.
