Refund his money, or accept his offer to resend half the amount he paid for and make sure it's properly wrapped and insured. You've put yourself in this position by saving yourself ~$6 on insurance, hope it was worth it. GFY

Lemme give you a hint, if someone cut it open to steal the contents, the perforation would be clean cut, not grenaded. You screwed up and you’re too hard-headed to admit it. The box didn’t arrive, period. It blew out in a spot you clearly didn’t reinforce. This one’s on you no matter how you spin it up.

The idea that you’re holding onto being wrong so tightly, and with the evidence that you clearly can’t figure out a box and its weak points, we can only infer that in addition to being an individual that is severely lacking in the integrity department, an equal shortcoming exists in the intelligence department.

I hate that it happened, but since KT doesn’t appear to be worried about the money, perhaps he can find some value in “paying” $350 to warn the rest of us about a snake in the grass.

I just looked at your post history. You came here to trade in the classifieds. I find it remarkable that you don't understand your responsibility as a shipper. You should have used reinforced tape. It cannot possibly break under the weight of the contents and is much more abrasion resistant. If you had used the correct tape to seal the box, then the post office would have a hard time denying a claim saying that it wasn't properly packaged.

Now you have ensured that your trading days here are over. I hope it was worth it to you.

As an aside, this is why I don't buy and sell in the classifieds. There are a lot of potential problems that I just don't want to deal with. What happens when the mail carrier delivers it 4 doors down and checks the delivered box? Who owns the loss there?
