Roger, my wife inherited, also. Didn't change our life much, because we spent so many decades budgeting and counting nickels that the old habits were hard to break. It'll all go to the grandkids someday. May you live comfortably but not extravagantly - and find a REALLY good tax guy.

Roger, my wife inherited, also. Didn't change our life much, because we spent so many decades budgeting and counting nickels that the old habits were hard to break. It'll all go to the grandkids someday. May you live comfortably but not extravagantly - and find a REALLY good tax guy. doubt it will us either, going to fix things on the house that need fixing and probably a couple of newer vehicles. good thing is the old lady has never been a spender.

Geoff has a really nice place he's running for the owner of Rudy's BBQ up at Matagorda set up for duck hunting, quail, and other bird hunting, plus hogs, deer, and gator. I'll set up a hunt this fall, hopefully, get you Leighton and a couple of others down to hunt.

I don't hunt any more, but I'd be first to sign up for a fishing trip - and a Whattaburger or two. we'll do some offshore fishing, I'm sure I'll get a boat, just not going to spend a couple hundred thousand on a new one. I'll look for something in the 30-35ft range with low hours that's been well maintained, and spend a hell of a lot less for it.
