The Saudis DO NOT have F-22s. They do have very good F-15s though, both the C and SA models. They have some competent pilots too.
That video looked more like a planned test missile shoot. So many indicators that was not a real shoot down vice a planned event.
I agree. The one aircraft launched flares and banked hard like an engagement but the aircraft filming didn’t appear to take any evasive maneuvers or counter measures or engage in any way. Looked more like live fire training to me also.

It might have a 6cyl. Or a 427.
A bad example, in that the power plant of the F15 would be the same as ours for the series.

Bristoe, who told you that the Saudis have F-22s? As far as I know only the United States Air Force operates those planes. We have not allowed Japan, Israel or Australia to purchase those planes and the production line is now shut down. Did the US Air Force give the Saudis the planes from their operating stocks? Please explain how the Saudis got F-22 Raptors.

No, they do not. F-22s have been deployed to Saudi Arabia, still under the control of the USAF, but no F-22s have been sold outside the US...none. The Saudis have expressed interest in the F-35, but thus far none have been sold to them.
The Saudis definitely do not have F22’s. We hardly have any F22’s ! I think we’re down to about 165 flyable F22’s. It’s really sad. The F22 is an incredible aircraft but it was too expensive to build and operate and its computers ancient technology. There was talk of trying to do an integration of F35 sensor and computer technology into the F22 airframe and restarting production. That was canceled when numbers were crunched and design obstacles were looked at objectively.
