If you haven’t watched Prince cover “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” at his Rock and Roll HOF, you should. The man could play.

Evening, were are you Texas guys common Stevie Ray Von, gone way to soon. ZZ Top, small three piece bands. Go to U tube and listen to some of the young kids, ammazzzzing. Kid from Australia 11 or 12 yrs old not super clean yet but he can still shred a guitar. Couple of girl drummers one from USA, one from Japan, exactly like the original drums. Again amazing. Bill out. 👣🐾👣🐾🇨🇦

Rick Derringer does some tasty things throughout this one.

Here's some video of him foolin' around a bit:

And speaking of short blues guitarists, here's Steve Mariott:

Y'all can use your Google-Fu skills to see which one was shorter. wink

Prince was a guitar playin MF'r.

But decided to strut his stuff or show he was better than George Harrison at a tribute to; George Harrison.

Georges son said that Prince was good, but his performance was, uncalled for.

Pretty much, JAN.

Well, I've brought up SRV, but just in passing. I could have posted his sound check, Carlos Santana's, pic one, & multiple Dwayne Allman & Dickie Betts solos, but just thought I'd let others have a chance.

Most stunning solo I've ever heard, by the late great Bob Kulick. First solo at 3:18, second at about 5:17. Other-wordly.

Not as long as many, but I've always appreciated Jimmy Page on Song Remains The Same.
