Szihn is correct, a weapon is simply an extention of your body, no matter the weapon.
You need to be mentally prepared to use it, and defend against the same weapon.

Lately I've been carrying a NY reload. A Colt Detective Special in a Galco Hornet cross draw holster on my left side, and a Sig P-365 in a IWB holster on my right side.

Also pack a Buck 110 auto on my belt.

I have an aluminum "fish whacker" in the passenger seat back pocket of my truck, one in the kitchen, and a shortened maul handle in the TV room.

Know a guy gave a young road rager at his door a face full of starting fluid.
Seemed to be very effective, except he was injured some and limped awhile afterward from kicking the fool in the ass as he was bent over holding his face crying the blues

The road rage promptly ended grin

Its all in the head. Regardless of the weapon. Its a mindset.

Wife carries a handgun and extra ammo. Usually an AR in the vehicle. An auto knife and a lock blade knife. And a fire extinguisher in the vehicle.

Fire Extinguishers make very good non lethal.

Me. I have a knife in a pocket with a flashlight. And some type of handgun or long gun.

Don't carry other things because they weigh. And take up room. Though there is always a good fire extinguisher in the vehicles.

I want something thats going to for sure end a conflict, not possibly. Just my way I suppose.

An “extremely” bright flashlight, many are smaller than a half smoked cigar! A momentarily blinded assailant, gives you and opportunity for other measures! memtb

They ought to be good for something, because the older ones damned sure didn't light much up.

My family knows that whichever restaurant table we are seated at, I'm taking the chair facing the door or the majority of the room.
