in an area with no Grizz. Which 5 would it be? Let's say it's bugout time and you get away from whatever it is with just the clothes on your back, but you've got a fully stocked cabin in the mountains and it's got the five guns you had the foresight to stash there along with a full supply of ammo. Possibilities are everything up to Griz and also self-defense.
01. Colt 6920 5.56mm 02. Smith and Wesson Governor 45 Colt, 45 ACP, 2 1/2" .410 03. Ruger 10-22 22 RF 04. Remington 870 12 Ga. 05. Colt Gold Cup 45 ACP
I could get by with the first three easily but the fourth is mo-betta and the fifth really is just added to duplicate the Governor. Going to town and CCWing would be made easier by the fifth even though it's not a real CCW piece. If I could add one more it would be my Ruger MkIII 22 LR with a full bull barrel.

Tikka T3 in 30-06. Glock 19 870 12gauge with 2 barrels and a host of chokes 10-22 BCM or Daniel Defense AR15
This combo would work well for anywhere in North America.

Both good arsenals. 30-06 is never a bad choice. I might put a model 70 in 30-06 in there instead of my Gold Cup.

Ruger 10/22
BCM or similar 5.56 AR with a mid length gas system
Rem 870 12gauge
Glock 19x
A good low maintenance stainless synthetic stocked bolt action 308 Win. Overall Iād rather have a 30-06 but would go 308 for a compact short action rifle with a 20ā barrel and the ability to shoot 7.62x51 military ammo in a pinch.

I'm going to go a bit off the reservation on this one based on current ammo on hand, availability, etc.
AR (pistol): 10.5" .350 Legend RAR: .350 Legend (compatibility of mags) Smith Mountain Gun: 45LC Remington 870 (pair of barre!s): 20 gauge Ruger 10/22
ļæ½Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.ļæ½

Well, the Glock 19 would be one. A 12 gauge Ithaca Model 37 Shotgun. A Winchester 94-22. An AR-15. Maybe number five would be a Glock 44 (.22 lr).

I don't disagree with any of the choices here. I could get by with about anybody's arsenal, thus far.

Of what I currently own:
AR 12 gauge H&R Partner Pump Ruger security 9 4" round butt Model 10 Scoped Marlin 795 .22
I would expect the scoped Marlin 795 to be used more than the others combined. It puts "just enough" exactly where you want it out to about 50 yards.

So, one receiver and 4 barrels. Is that one gun or 4?
I am..........disturbed.
