in an area with no Grizz. Which 5 would it be? Let's say it's bugout time and you get away from whatever it is with just the clothes on your back, but you've got a fully stocked cabin in the mountains and it's got the five guns you had the foresight to stash there along with a full supply of ammo. Possibilities are everything up to Griz and also self-defense.
I could get by with the first three easily but the fourth is mo-betta and the fifth really is just added to duplicate the Governor. Going to town and CCWing would be made easier by the fifth even though it's not a real CCW piece. If I could add one more it would be my Ruger MkIII 22 LR with a full bull barrel.
If it's truly "Bugout-Time" and you have chosen something other than 22lr and/or what might be carried by a member of the military or law enforcement you're a slack-jawed booger-eating moron.
I can walk on water.......................but I do stagger a bit on alcohol.
.223 Colt 6920. I already use them for deer 20 ga lightweight/youth multi chokes .22 lr cz 455 or 457 6.5 cm, 7mm-08 or just a 308 in a lightweight 700 type or Kimber Montana 9mm Glock 19

Indeed I may be a slack-jawed, booger-eating moron and proud of it, I might add, but if you'll peruse the OP, it said you leave wherever you're at with only the clothes on your back and your guns are already stashed along with ammo, at your uber cabin in the woods.
I've had a list for years I call The 6. When more & more social unrest appeared I had to add an AR but couldn't bring myself to sacrifice anything & the list became The 7. So five is tough.
But for sure,
870 in 12 ga. Ruger 77/22 AW-scoped. Glock 19/23 Scoped bolt action in 25-30 caliber.
I guess adding an AR, AK or the like will make the five, but sure would like to have a Super Blackhawk or 629 & an accurate 22 pistol.
I would actually reduce it to 3 if things were that grim.
Bolt action 22LR with a can. AR in 5.56 with a can. Glock 17
I’d use the 22 as much as possible for hunting smallish stuff or even head-shoot deer. I could hunt anything the size of deer or bigger with the AR. Glock 17 is just a last-ditch secondary.
Smith 617 4" .22LR CZ 455 Scout .22LR (already threaded for a can) 870 Turkey Gun 12 gauge Some kind of deer rifle (whatever, anything can kill a deer) 1911 .45
That oughta do it.
