Anybody have any ideas on where to invest so that your money will follow inflation? I have some crypto, metal, and oil. Also 3% of my IRA in a leveraged Russia fund (RUSL) I'll ask this again when y'all get through rolling in the mud. We’re not through, maybe ask your investor? I don't have an advisor if that is what you mean. All self directed, and more than doubled since March a year ago. Bought in at the time of maximum Corona-19 fear. I’m not an advisor either, but if I were, I’d tell you to sell. That might be good advice. But if you sell and don't use the resulting cash to latch onto something that will keep up with the runaway inflation that is coming you can sure lose a bunch.

Might work

I notice a gallon jug of drinking water which was $1.00 five years ago was $1.20 last year and $1.40 today. Depressing. 79 cents at Walmart here.

That's what happens when you support the liberal agenda. According to some, you can't not support their agenda. It's too hard not to eat their food, buy from their companies, to watch their shows and their sports, there's no way around public school brainwashing, and you must pay all the taxes they want. There's a lot to that, but if you make a plan and begin to organize your life in a way to avoid all that, then great progress can be made.

Free advice is worth what you pay for it. Bouncing it on the 'fire can't hurt, but pay a Pro for real help. There are some pretty sharp money folks here on the fire. A lot of "Pro" advisors are into churning accounts for increasing their commissions. Hastings, I wonder the same question regularly. I'm not on here very often so I'll try to remember to check back here, and there is a lot of mud to wade through. If you get a meaningful response by one of the sharp folk, maybe shoot me a PM? TIA

Seen steel and plywood go up like crazy before. Steel was crazy way back in ‘04. I know, I was buying a lot of it.
Plywood went stupid after Katrina. It was high 6 months ago (as much as I dislike Biden, he’s not personally responsible).
I’ve seen gas way higher than this.
Biggest problem is jacked up supply chains and logistics.
Biden will eventually unravel all of Trumps tariffs, we can all start buying cheap Chinese junk again and all will be right with the world. Or at least some on here can quit wringing their hands.....or wring them about something else. this....it has done it before and after this mess passes it will do it again later.....its always a cycle....bob

If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

Bottle swatter is actually a misdirect. The price of bottled water is tied more closely to the price of oil used to make little plastic beads, and the labor to make those beads into a bottle and cap..

Its WAY better than when we started a pipeline war in Iraq.
You couldn't even buy tires.
Who did Tarquin end up voting for anyway?
He denies a Biden vote....but we cant believe him.
Maybe a "didn't vote"? Independent?
